Gavin began his motor sport career in the Cadets racing alongside the likes of Jenson Button, Dan Weldon and Anthony Davidson. At the age of 12 Gavin  moved on to race in Junior TKM followed by the Senior TKM.

Today Gavin races in the 250 MSA Superkart championship, where he has already achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze Championship titles.

Gavin can also be seen competing in the highest level of Superkart racing in Europe, driving his Anderson FPE division 1 kart, with speeds capable of reaching up to 160mph.
